Now that we are on the unit of momentum I am able to understand why things keep moving at the velocities that they travel. This past lab also helped my understand visually on how momentum is neither created nor destroyed. The lab also helped my see how and in what direction momentum was transferred when two carts collided. I was also able to see how objects with different masses affect the amount of momentum an object has. Over all this week I was able to understand some key concepts that will hopefully help me on this upcoming unit exam.
